Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm within the community. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the title's launch, to trainers developing firm opinions on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.
With numerous of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one thought came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes Aries far more similar to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Similar to a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unabashed passion for treats. Several past official descriptions mention their craving for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Observe this absolute queen. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite similar to a socially-savvy Gemini.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
Cancer is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Oh, did you think I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Leo brings to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The sign known for being endearingly critical is clearly mirrored across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a strategy.
Libra – Super Audino
Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who employs the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even notes how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.
The Goat – Super Absol
Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical energy as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame typing fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall intimidating aura is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
