Iranian Forces State Attack on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, During Widespread Retaliatory Strikes.
Iran's military claims to have hit a US naval base in Bahrain, as the country executed operations across the region in response for a significant and ongoing offensive against it by the United States and Israeli forces.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area close to the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any destruction is unclear and the American officials has remained silent.
Airspace Engagements
In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - all home to US military bases - stated they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their territorial skies.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had successfully engaged several missiles apparently targeting the al-Udeid air base, the biggest US military installation in the region.
Iran's Declared Retaliation
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard declared it was striking US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the offensive on Iran carried out by the US and Israel on Saturday.
That preceding assault - initiated at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted locations associated with the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump urging the people of Iran to rise up against the government.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces said it had identified an incoming Iranian missile barrage.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates announced that the nation has been targeted by a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems engaged the missiles with notable success and shot down a several projectiles," it added.
Officials reported wreckage landed in a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some property damage and killing a civilian.
The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the Emirati Air Force.
